CELEBRATE FOR WHAT YOU ACHIEVE

2022 NEW YEAR TO COMMEMORATE THEM WHO LOST THEIR LIFE IN COVID-19 PANDEMIC

MATURITY IS THAT WHEN YOU CELEBRATE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS OF LAST YEAR & LEARN FROM YOUR ALL ONE YEAR MISTAKES TO NOT TO REPEAT IT AGAIN IN THIS NEW YEAR

2022 may be celebration for many people who still immature to understand what is going around us in this world. Many of them celebrating it by purchasing cards or gift or playing crackers, ignoring the lost of last year which world have faced and still facing by many of our friends & relatives. Think about them who lost someone in corona pandemic. The last  two year were came to give us the lesson of our ignorance towards the reality. Lets this year be begin with atleast one initiation by all of you for them who are just living for their survival, who needs our supports. Kindly begin this year with a plant in your family. I always emphasized on it because it essential for our survival on this earth. The speed of urbanisation is much more faster than afforestation, which great cause of concern for us as may be you die before that harsh condition of earth but what will happen to your generation.

One more important issue which all of us have to realise that is UNITY in INDIA, there may be no caste or religion conflict if we all will decide to not to affects this useless matter to our life.We the people of India, Having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens. JUSTICE, social, economical and political; LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship; EQUALITY of status and opportunity; FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation.

Everyone should remember the preamble to not to violate its dignity as its the key to our constitution & all have their rights to live their life freely. Lets take oath to not to harm others on caste or religious conflict, we are living in 21st century & seeing the case of MOB LYNCHING, DOWRY CONFLICT, CASTE CONFLICT ON TEMPLE ENTRY AND ALSO DISCRIMINATION WITH WOMEN. Is this the same India where the 1857 Hindu-Muslim unity become lesson for British to start DIVIDE & RULE. The same procedure is still using by some of politicians by putting aside the basic problems of India. They are collecting votes using Mandir-Masjid and we Indians don't even recognise that we are still under a New British Raj. That time there was outsiders which atleast unite us to fight for future of India and to understand DRAIN OF WEALTH THEORY of Dadabhai but today the exploiters are Indians and we even don't realising that Indians are till facing quite similar problems.

New Year's Day is celebrated in most of the world on 1st January, the first day of the year in the modern Gregorian Calender. 1 January is also New Year's Day on the Julian calender, but this is not the same day as the Gregorian one. Most solar calenders (like the Gregorian and Julian) begin the year regularly at or near the northern winter solstice, cultures that observe a lunisolar or lunar calenders celebrate their New Year's Day (such as the Chinese New Year and the Islamic New Year ) at less fixed points relative to the solar year.

Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Ugadi, Gudi Padava, Cheti Chand, Navreh and Sajibu Cheiraoba.

These festivals of the spring season mark the beginning of the traditional new year in India.

Chaitra Shukla Pratipad ,marks the beginning of the new year of the Vikram Samvat also known as the Vedic [Hindu] calendar.Vikram Samvat is based on the day when the emperor Vikramaditya defeated Sakas, invaded Ujjain and called for a new era.Under his supervision, astronomers formed a new calendar based on the luni-solar system that is still followed in the northern regions of India. It is the first day during the waxing phase (in which the visible side of moon is getting bigger every night) of the moon in the Chaitra (first month of Hindu calendar).

Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, these festivals are celebrated by the people in the Deccan region including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The common practice in the celebrations of both the festivals is the festive food that is prepared with a mix of sweet and bitter.A famous concoction served is jaggery (sweet) and neem (bitter), called bevu-bella in the South, signifying that life brings both happiness and sorrows.Gudi is a doll prepared in Maharashtrian homes.A bamboo stick is adorned with green or red brocade to make the gudi. This gudi is placed prominently in the house or outside a window/ door for all to see. For Ugadi, doors in homes are adorned with mango leaf decorations called toranalu or Torana in Kannada.

Cheti Chand,Sindhis celebrate the new year as Cheti Chand. Chaitra month is called 'Chet' in Sindhi. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Uderolal/Jhulelal, the patron saint of Sindhis.

Navreh, is the lunar new year that is celebrated in Kashmir. It is the Sanskrit word ‘Nav-Varsha’ from where the word ‘Navreh’ has been derived. It falls on the first day of the Chaitra Navratri. On this day, Kashmiri pandits look at a bowl of rice which is considered as a symbol of riches and fertility.

Sajibu Cheiraoba, is a ritual festival of Meiteis which is observed on the first day of Manipur lunar month Shajibu, which falls in March/April every year.On the day of the festival, people arrange a joint family feast in which traditional cuisines are offered to local deities at the entrance gates of the houses.

The Islamic New Yearalso called the Hijri New Year or Arabic New Year, is the day that marks the beginning of a new lunar Hijri Year, and is the day on which the year count is incremented. The first day of the Islamic year is observed by most Muslims on the first day of the month of Muharram. The epoch of the Islamic era was set as 622 CE, the year of the emigration of Mohammad s.a.w and his followers from Mecca to Medina, known as the Hijra. All religious duties, such as prayer, fasting in the month of Ramadan, and pilgrimage, and the dates of significant events, such as celebration of holy nights and festivals, are calculated according to the Islamic calendar.

May this 2022 will give us understanding to face the world with new energy and basic problems to come in the race of developed country. No matter how much development takes place or how much of our economy grow but if a single person sleep with empty stomach then the responsibility of a county towards their all citizens equally will not fulfill.

I wish this year, India target ZERO HUNGER along with ZERO EMISSION.

SIMPLICITY IS ULTIMATE SOPHISTICATION

 SIMPLICITY IS ESSENCE OF HAPPINESS

"There is a huge difference in making the simple things & making the things simple."

Simplicity is not only about to look simple its the deep thought which  always reflects from you. The way you see the world, the way you react on any situation, the way you handle the people around you. Its all come in the simplicity and it does not come from outside, its only you who feel it and accept it despite the world is not being simple. Its you who decide the way you want to live no matter what is the trend around you. Seeing the thing without being partial & orthodox, if you are not able to express yourself honestly then you should have to give much time to yourself to atleast be aware of who you are and what you want from yourself. Never think what others talk about you on your any decision if you are right then time will definitely prove it without any extra effort. You should just focus to be real, to be what you really are, not what others want to see in you. As said by Albert Einstine," If you can't explain it simply,You don't understand it well enough."

SIMPLICITY IS ULTIMATE SOPHISTICATION

Sophistication has a complex meaning it may be manifested as 'a measure of refinement',  it can be related to quality of wisdom, good taste, being cultured and knowledgeable. To achive this refinement one does not need to be born in rich families or spend one's lifetime in universities or monasteries but need to adopt a simple yet fulfilling approach.

Remember the man, Mahatma Gandhi, who got the tittle "Father of the Nation" not because he was The Mohandas but because of his way of thinking, his way of seeing and handling the situation during tough time either in South Africa or in India. Many time just because of his decision he faced criticism and even saw conflict but he always strongly sticked to his perception which was right from his point of views. He owned less than 10 possession when he passed away and did't even own a house. He wear "DHOTI" and emphasised on "CHARKHA" .He truly lived by his saying of "LET YOUR LIFE BE YOUR MESSEGE" & he had gone by giving us many valuable messeges important of them are "Non-Violence" and "Simplicity".

Quite similar Mother Teresa impacted the life of us, he did't advocated to give up the life style and luxury but sent a messege to be generous enough to share it when time comes. She gave the message of spreading love and care & always emphasized to have faith in one's action. Swami Vivekanand often stressed on invoking the power of inner self. He said," You have to grow from inside out. None can teach you. None can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own Soul." When an individual realises how impactful her life can be, the destiny take a turn. If we talk about present days simplicity can be seen in two of our political leaders who always focus the ground level problem of general public.

Education is one of the most enriching experiences of an individual's life. Education should be imparted in right way to open the minds of people & to act as a agent of change. Students should be teach in the way to increase the retention. NEP-2020 emphasises on early education in mother tongue & also extra curricular activities of student's interest to be educated as well as get atleast on talent of his interest. Childhood is the main time when one can understand their area of interest properly. Along with teaching the democracy & democratic values, students should be made to witness election procedure by internal election for monitor and making basic rules of conduct in classrooms. Instead of just memorising the history to students teachers should tell the story of freedom fighter as it make the class intresting, they can make few drama in the class by choosing students accordingly. When they play the character they will realise more strongly the feeling of freedom fighters, the complexity of British time which they have faced to make India free for us.

We, the people of India feel proud for being the largest democracy of the world. But are we really democratic in our approach & conduct? In order to be truly democratic we need to follow a simple formula- 'Of the People, By the People, For the People'. Of the people relates to we being a republic country by electing head of our state who have simple and state-forward plan for our country without having any discriminative ideas. Who has citizen-centric approach in making his election manifesto.

We all should be aware of atleast preamble, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles and Fundamental Duties as a responsible citizen. One can see the difference in them if they stated collecting information of use rather than useless gossiping. As a citizen of India we all should aware of important amendments which have been taken places & what may be their implication on our life directly or indirectly. The day when you decide to live your life as a responsible one you will feel the simplicity comes in your life. The head of your state by taking simple and fair decision can one day change the thought of Country's Citizens, on which future of any country depends.

Despite being educated if we will fight or argue on religious or caste or for the place of our praying then the culture of our country will destroy soon. Indians are too busy to fight on random matters which force them to stay away from big cause of concern which have drastic consequences on our life that is Global Warming, Climate Change, Sustainable Development Goals, our economy, our future as well as current problems. We all can contribute to our nation in very simple manner by changing  our life style little bit.The comfortable life we are enjoying here using ACs, too much vehicle pollution, deforestation for factory or Industry setup, consequences of all these faced by vulnerable one, whenever any disease spread or any disaster come the one who has big empire or good bank balance never affected too much, but the poor who earn money daily & live a very simple life.

Everyone is busy in earning money for them & for their future generation and giving all the facilities of life. They forget that Mother Earth is also facing problem because of their irresponsible action. We are facing more floods, cyclones, drought, extinction of species and emergence of new diseases. If we all take a pledge to atleast plant a tree and take care of it as a responsible one we can face the climate change in a very simple way. Its not as tough to be handled but just your few minutes and intention can give much more contribution to nature under which you & your family nourishing.

If we talk about SDGs i.e. No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water & Sanitation, Affordable Clean Energy, Decent Work & Economic Growth, Industry Innovation & Infrastructure,Reduced Equalities, Sustainable cities & Communities, Responsible Consumption & Production, Climate Action, Life below water, Life on Land, Peace & Justice strong Institution and in the last most important SDG-17: Partnership to achive all these goals. It will not fulfill just by policy makers or administrators, its we the citizens who can participate in achieving these goals on ground levels as we affects the most whenever any disaster come. According to an estimate, approximately 67 million tonnes of food is wasted annually in India which is Rs.92000 crore in value, that food is sufficient to feed the population of Bihar for a year.

Now come to the water which is most important, rather than wasted too much in our daily life. We get the supply of water to our tap regularly, imagine a day when you face water scarcity as much as you don't have to drink clean water. Presently many villages are facing the challenges of water, they are living in such a harsh situation as it become the part of their life, the same situation can disturb everything when  it comes in front of us.It becomes the headline of newspapers if one day electricity cut for an hour in any metropolitan city and the villages which are facing water scarcity & electricity problem on regular basis not taken in consideration on such level. As the citizen of India and also as a species of Earth its our responsibility to use the resources sustainably so that it can be used by other vulnerable population as well as our future generation also.

We can reduce the pollution by not using personal car just for one person, don't use the thing as you have it but use it as you need it & there is a big difference in between them, it also comes in simplicity when human uses the resources in sustainable way. We can decide  not to use too much electricity no matter we are capable of bearing the cost of it. One should think that if we use the resources in proper way then it will be in excess in this system and can be reached to the vulnerable poor section of our society. As its now normal to first feed the rich then think about the poors. If we change our life style slightly & move towards simplicity then we can contribute to others as well as to our Mother Earth indirectly.

"Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful".

HOUSEWOMEN CONTRIBUTION IN NATION

CONTRIBUTION OF HOMEMAKER/HOUSEWIFE IN THE NATION

I really feel proud to include this topic in my list and I would love to dedicate this ofcourse to my mom who take care all of us from morning to night & also to one other courageous lady who actually sacrifice her wonderfull career just to give happiness and care to her husband & his family, one of my sister-in-law.

Women carry a disproportionately higher burden of unpaid work, namely domestic services as well as care of children, the old and the disabled or patient for their respective households.

All of these works contribute to national level but invisible in the national database and national policies, imagine a day when you awaking and that house maker is suffering from any problem which stopped her from all her daily work then you come to know the real value of that macho lady.

Actually you all just live in this comfort zone and the bold lady even in her troublesome condition provides all the services thats why you did not recognise the importance of her/his existence, its like when Sun do not rises but still gives you light by scattering during dawn & twilight, think if not a tiny light comes to you on any morning then You will realise the real blackout.

In my opinion homemaker either 'he' or 'she' is like Sun of the home, all the activities started on their awakening. Is it or not! depends on one's own opinion but for me its the good way to give them as much respect, care & support as I can, so I consider them as the SUN OF MY FAMILY, for me its both of my parents as they awaken before the sunrise & shine my home earlier than sun.

Its really good that now this is taken in consideration on Judicial level, as recently Supreme Court said that the value of a woman's work at home must be placed with that of her office-going husband.

A 24*365  job without remuneration, promotions and retirement benifits can be taken by a daring one.It restrict opportunities for women in the economy and in life. Women do this job not necessarily becouse they  like it but it is imposed on them by patriarchal norms.

This unequal division of unpaid work between women and men is unfair and unjust and it deprives women of equal opportunities as men.

2021, year when a political party of Tamil Nadu has promised salaries to housewives as a part of its electoral campaign.

Data from 2019 gathered by the National Sample Survey Organisation revealed that only about a quarter of men and boys above six years engaged in unpaid household chores, compared to over four-fifths of women.Every day, an average Indian male spends 1.5 hours per dayin unpaid domestic work, compared to about five hours by a female.A large number of women  live with domestic violence and cruelty because they are economically dependent on others, mainly their husbands.

A report by the International Labour Organisation (ILO)in 2018 shows that, globally, women perform 76.2% of total hours of unpaid care work, more than three times as much as men. In Asia and the Pacific, this figure rises to 80%.

Don't you think that this priceless silent contribution of homemaker in National Economy as invisible vector should be taken in consideration on National level for reward either in cash or cashless. I think a proper survey for this should be conducted & then according to that data GoI can consider them in their polices.

The origin of demand for 'Wages for Housework' associated with the 2nd Wave of the women's movement in North America & Europe. Alongside other demand of social & political equality made visible by women's right campaigners.

They challenged the assumption that a 'natural' affinity for housework was rooted in the essential nature of women who were performing a 'Labour of Love'. For leading women's rights activists of the 1960s and 1970s, it was important to bust the myth that the women's work at home is a personal service with no link with capitalist production. In a concrete sense, this meant linking the exploitation of the work in the factory to women's work at home.

A feminist scholar, Silvia Federici, in 1975, in "Wages against housework" compare the unpaid work & bargain of earners to the housework.

If we talk about India, in 2010 an application by the National Housewives Association, seeking recognition as a trade union was rejected by the deputy registrar of trade unions on the ground that housework is not a trade or an industry.

In 2012, the then minister for Women and Child development announced that the government was considering mandating a salary for housework to wives, from husbands. The purpose was to empower women financially and help them live with dignity. The proposal never materialised and with the change in the government in 2014,but now this is again taken in consideration on high level even the inclusion of it in electoral manifesto is really a bold decision by any political party.

There may be some who argued in favour of this but I guess such a country like India there will be less percentage of favouring person but definitely the young educated generation will mostly support this concept.

In reality there may be some difficulty as the recognition will be tough of such a huge population, but if NRC can be done then this survey will also be conducted successfully in future of this New Emerging Digital India.

With the help of these initiations atleast India will take this Recognition as the first step to Equality as the inequality is more here in our country, More Accurate National Income Accounting.

It will make Woman Autonomous and Control Domestic Violence, Redefines the Role of Women,Welfare of a large Segment of Population.

According to the Census in 2011, people engaged in household duties have been treated as non-workers, even when 159.9 million women stated that “household work” was their main occupation.

The immense burden of work therefore prevents women from pursuing further education, employment opportunities, raising their skill-level and tending to their own well-being.poor women are more likely to suffer from ‘time poverty’.

There is some consequences also; it will raise the burden on Government expenditure if GoI decide to pay  them directly on their own risk, if the payment will be done by earner then it will Strengthen the Position of Men by buying domestic labour from wife which may poses a serious risk, it will also Increased the responsibility asking men to pay for wives’ domestic work could further enhance their sense of entitlement. It may also put the additional onus on women to perform. Acceptance and application, despite a legal provision, equal inheritance rights continue to be elusive for a majority of women then how can it be recognised that the policies of GoI is working, as corruption is on all level.

My suggestion is that;

GoI should take proper & regular survey of it & then either give them financial help in their accounts monthly or quarterly depends on budget, they can also share this burden with the earner of house as a 'Homemaker Tax' and then 50:40:10 may be contribution by Center, State & Earning Men/Women of the family.

There should be a database & make it mandatory for all homemaker to have an HM-ID like Adhar Card which will use by them for free public transport, health facilities, concession in different field like shopping for product of their own use, medicines etc.

At the end I will request everyone to contribute HomeMakers in your own ways, " Take care of her/him who cares for everyone, respect them as service provided by them is priceless, support them in all field, provide them comfort as much as you can, fight for them, consider them as the first person of your home as your earning does not fill your stomach alone, Homemaker & Moneymaker both have their own importance in a family, I will say that Homemaker is slightly higher as she not only cook food, she performed many task even it may be call as your manager emotionally, physically sometimes manage your salary also & make the budget of your family.

DEPRESSION IS NOTHING BUT YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

 "ANTI-DEPRESSION THOUGHTS"

"Depression is the main hurdle in the way of success, in which you  dying inside silently"
If you are depressed you can not do any activity in the right way, even a small decision will be as tough as you have to climb  Mount Everest.
What is depression? What is symptoms of depression? From where it come? How it affects you as much? How to face the situation? What is the way to stay away from depression?
These are few questions regarding which everyone have their own opinion.

For me depression is when you dont live your life in proper way and you yourself violate your own fundamental rights as no one in this world can harm or hurt you if you dont allow them to do so. You and only you can control your mind from affection of anything either natural or man made.

One can face few symptoms of depression like; Persistent feeling of sadness, loss of interest in activities, Trouble sleeping or oversleeping,Appetite or weight changes, fatigue or decreased energy, recurrent thoughts of death and suicide.

I am not as smart to completely handle this situation but I have come to know the way to escape these tough situation.

Firstly, I will suggest you to stay away from all these things which unnecessarily disturbed your mind control like relatives or neigbours around you who do not have any area of interest which is suitable to you, as it is impossible to shut their mouth when they begin the shit but easy way to stop yourself from hearing all these rubbish as its your fundamental as well as human right.

Second thing is to involve yourself with natural things like gardening or in your loving pet. It boost your energy in any worst condition. Nature has the supreme power to give you positive energy. Daily memorise that supreme power, the creator of universe.

Third and one of the most important thing is to help the needy and never be arrogant on your wealth or power as nothing in this world is indestructible and GOD is omnipotent & omnipresent. Many people misbehave with their employee or begger, always remember no money can purchase anyone's self-respect.

Fourth is to give your time to your parents who saved you when you were not able to even perform a single task without their help that is your childhood and now during their old age its your turn to surve them back, I know nothing can be equal to their affection which they have showered on us but we can try to atleast love them selflessly.

Finally, last but the main strong way to face this depression is eduction, knowledge & to find your all skills which is still hidden from yourself. Every person have as much skill as they dont even realise during their whole life.

Never waste your precious time to think that what other thinks about you or what others talk behind yourself as the world is full of free people who actually do not have any aim in their life & they enjoyed in gossiping.

To be confident & happy it is important to choose the people around yourself whose area of interest match to you or who can give you any knowledge which is helpful to you.

Today, if you will not decide the way to happily live your life then tomorrow someone else will be able to take all the decision of your life.Never give anyone the complete authority to take any big decision of your life which may affects you strongly.

Always remember we all have only one life to live with, either spend it according to your own wish & happiness or you can be just a puppet of other.

"If you can not stop others from hurting your sentiments then you must stop yourself giving them opportunities to do so."
